The Aloha Asian Classic will be held on August 13, 14, 15 in Honolulu Hawaii. Last years tournament featured 30 teams from all over the country. The championship game went to double overtime and was action packed from start to finish. After finally seeing a top indopak team in the dream league tournament in Las Vegas everyone is excited to see how they might do in our top notch tournament. 1) Chosen- Clearly the most dominant team in the field. Chelsey and Jenny dominated the game with layups after layups.

2) Luna- Not having a full team hurt and they were lucky to get into the final game. If not for a last second miracle, Houston would have been playing in the final.

3) Sarah's team was out matched by Chosen but they got their act together and challenged Luna to the last second. Sarah has her work cut out for her in developing her team but in time, her toughness will make them a much better team.

We can now officially remove the label off of them as the best team to never have won a National title. I will leave it up to debate who is now the best team to not win a title, but Domenators come to mind. Congratulations are also in order to the Jibs who showed that they can play at a Championship level even though everyone is a little older.

The A division tournament overall proved to be quite interesting in that no team went undefeated. There were some very close games and some key upset along the way.

The Spartans started the tournament with a double OT loss to What Might Have Been but then picked up momentum and dominated the rest of the way. The only question now is does this team have what it takes to play in the A division or are they destined for only the B division. Congrats also to the Carrollton Soldiers who after a one year absence are back in the finals.

Worth All Stars who dominated the tournament from start to finish. The All-Stars defended their home field again by not allowing a single point in the tournament. Congratulations also to Maryland Charm City Connection for a great run at this year's tournament.

Fort Worth All-Stars (4-0)- With a tremendous combination of size and speed, the All-Stars easily disposed of their bracket foes and went on to take care of business in the playoffs as well. Ft. Worth made key defensive stops in the finals to preserve their shut outs. The All-Stars did not give up a single point in the tournament.
