Game 1: Chosen (48) Luna (22)

Game 2: Chosen (61) Houston Shooters (28)
Game 3: Luna (24) Houston Shooters (23)

Final: Chosen (49) Luna (32)

MVP: Chelsey Antony- Chosen

1st Team: Jenny Mathew- Chosen

1st Team: Alena Thomas- Chosen

1st Team: Juby Panachakunnel- Luna

1st Team: Judy Panachakunnel- Luna

1st Team: Lisa Mathew- Luna

1) Chosen- Clearly the most dominant team in the field. Chelsey and Jenny dominated the game with layups after layups.

2) Luna- Not having a full team hurt and they were lucky to get into the final game. If not for a last second miracle, Houston would have been playing in
the final.

3) Sarah's team was out matched by Chosen but they got their act together and challenged Luna to the last second. Sarah has her work cut out for her in
developing her team but in time, her toughness will make them a much better team.

We only had three teams in the girls...

2008 Women's Championship Game

One of our goals are to get more of the women/girls involved in Indopaksports and we took that step by promoting a girls tournament. We only had two teams
register but it was decided that rather than cancel the event, that we would move forward with a game between the two teams right before the Men's A
Championship game and after the B Championship game. We do not regret our decision as both teams were not only skilled, but well organized. If the future of
women's basketball in the Indopak arena is that enjoyable, I can't wait to see what a full blown out 8 to12 team tournament will be like. Ninde Amaz
led by Asha Dosha and Merrin Mathew and The Chosen were led by their scrappy point guard Gladis Johnson. Ninde Amaz held on to win 17-13 in a very exciting
game.
