We are 3 1/2 weeks away and have a few spots left in our basketball tournament. Due to the lack of teams registered for flag football and the registrations for the talent show, we have decided to cancel our first attempt to host an IndoPak flag football tournament and talent competition here in FL. We will add these additional events to our weekend next year! Shoot It Out V is still on and we are getting close to cutting off registration time in order to release a schedule, if you are interested in bringing your team to compete in the basketball tournament please register asap!

I think the problem is after you have filled out the required information, Team Name, Captain, Location, Email, and Contact Number and hit Submit... you get an error page that says:

Please go back to the form and complete:
Division A/B

We have a few new teams in both sports and people are beginning to inquire about competing in the talent show so things are looking bright in the sunshine state right now! The talent show is not limited to talent in FL, if you are in town for sports but have a talent in any of the categories we are holding our competition in, feel free to register today! A list of registered teams and contestants will be released in 1 week, a month before our IndoPak weekend, so please register if you are planning to make it out on www.shootitout.net today!

Having the Defending Champions from Fort Worth just raised the ante in Orlando. Nice job Frank. I will promote your tournament on the Indopaksports Chat radio show I am doing this saturday at 5 CST.

I'm trying to register a team for the Orlando Flag Football tournament MLK weekend, but on the shootitout.net site the Flag Football registration form asks for division a/b. There is no option to select the division.

How else can I register for the tournament, or I should ask instead are there still slots available?

Both the basketball and flag football tournaments will be held in downtown Orlando, FL this year. We have the facilities to host up to 16 teams in each sport. If your team is ready to get your game on in FL, please register at www.shootitout.net asap because although we would like to have everyone play, entry is based on a first come first serve basis.

The flag football tournament will be held on a nice outdoor field with bermuda grass known as Thunder Field of the Florida Citrus Bowl following IPF rules. This venue is located in downtown Orlando. For now the basketball tournament will remain at Champions Sports Complex where it was held last year but if it is possible, the basketball tournament will be moved downtown as well. It is a 17 minute drive from the parking lot of one event to the other. Thank you to the teams that have already registered. The forms are now updated so please register asap if you are planning to come down in January.

We would prefer it to be outdoors. As far as rain goes this is Football you can play it in any weather!! Our 2nd DC IPF tournament was held on a weekend when it rained and everyone enjoyed it a lot...

You can always use the indoor facility as a backup plan. Another option which we are thinking about doing is having two divisions of flag football. The Elite A will be "rough touch or IPF rules and the competetive B will be TAAF flag football with only screen blocking.

I just thought it would be pretty exciting to have an indoor tournament because the fields were available and it guarantees good weather. Last year it rained during this weekend. Frank, Got to agree with Ice on this one. Guys here in MD are concerned about playing on indoor artficial turf. Anyway you might be able to confirm getting the outdoor field for the tournament?

Just an update here, the registration forms are up on our actual tourney site at www.shootitout.net please register as soon as possible to have a spot held. We are proud to announce that the Jamil family has given us the honor of doing both the basketball and football tournaments in honor of a brother that all of us that are a part of IndoPak Sports Internationally lost, Salman A. Jamil. 2009 will be the 10th anniversary of this loss and he will be remembered in FL so a special thanks to Irfan for getting permission from your family for us and giving us that privilage. $350/Team for tournament entry into A division
$300/Team for tournament entry into B division
1 Participant/team for skills contests (Slam Dunk/3-Pt)
$5 entry fee/spectator per day
